The un-savvy hypocrisy and policy inept attitude of Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives just to spite the liberals is appalling. Let’s take the legalization of cannabis for example.
Scheer’s first position
During the legislation of legalization of cannabis in Canada, Andrew Scheer, and his conservatives launch a fierce campaign against the legalization and decriminalization. Legalizing marijuana was a good thing for Canada to disregard the Conservatives’ divisive rhetoric.
Though as a believer, hearing the word cannabis could be touchy for you, but because we don’t like something doesn’t mean it should be illegal. Our beliefs should not be everyone’s Constitution that why God gave us all free will.
Scheer’s second position
After the legislation, Scheer took a new position, Scheer said he will look at what happens once the government legalize the drug, to decide whether he would re-criminalize it if the Conservatives win the next election.
Scheer’s third position
After the legalization of cannabis, Scheer took another stand, ” the wait and see” position, a brand he is known for.
“We recognize the reality now, he said so I do not intend to go back and make marijuana illegal again,” he told 104.7 Outaouais, a radio station based in Gatineau, Que. “But we will see what happens within the year and make the necessary corrections.”
He probably hopes incidents and accidents due to Cannabis will rise and his opposition to legalization will be cheered.
His Latest position
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer, who previously opposed the proposed legalization of cannabis, now says a Conservative government would not only keep cannabis legal but would also stay the course with its support of pardons for Canadians convicted of pot possession.
Canada cannot afford to experiment with a Scheer that put politics above the well being of Canadians. A Scheer that knows the truth, but gives alternative lies. Scheer continuous perspective on progressive policies signals he is not ready. Canadians cannot afford to replay what happen in Ontario at the federal level.
